Prayer Tip, Praying for Your kids

We all do this.  Whether it’s parenting, in business or a hobby (or life in general, really), we notice those who do something well, and we desire to know their secrets and know-how.  This is what happened when the disciples noticed how Jesus prayed.

One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1

Just the other day, I was struggling to come up with another prayer tip and thought to myself that I must be done with this subject-matter.  But then I couldn’t see how that could be – If God is infinite (and He is!), then so are those spiritual things related to Him, including prayer.

prayer tip, prayer points,

Truth is, we will never know everything there is to know about prayer.  So, I keep asking and seeking.  It is my end-game to be able to hear God.  Oh, I know how to ask for things, complain to Him like David did, and to express thanksgiving, but to ALWAYS hear God is my greatest desire.

If I can hear Him, I am then always sure of what He is saying and where He is leading.  And that is awesome-sauce!

When this happens consistently, I am living a confidently.  No worries here!

So that is my tip this week – to keep asking the Lord to teach me how to pray.  May it be yours, too!

What are some specific things you want to know more about regarding prayer?  Make a list, and start praying over them while studying God’s Word.  I am confident, He will answer, my friend.
