Wreck This Journal, Prayer Journal, War Room, Prayer Closet

This is the one and only time I will EVER direct you to name it and claim it in your prayer journal, so listen up carefully!

Before we get carried away with our pet prayer project this month, let’s do something essential, like writing our names and addresses inside the cover of our prayer journals in the unfortunate event, Heaven forbid, that we misplace it, or worse, lose our journal.  Oh no!  We must put our names on our journals so it can be claimed.

Now, this need not be a boring task.  Feel free to decorate your page and put some flair to it.  I like decorating my prayer journal, and you can see more about that here.  I am addicted to scrapbook paper and washi-tape even though I was really not that big of a scrapbooker.  As such, this is what I did below:

It’s not fancy-schmancy, but it works for me.  Do you have some nifty ideas about how to personalize and protect your prayer journal???  I hope your creative juices are beginning to flow.

Another touch I added was a small file tab that also makes my contact information easily seen.  Check it out…

What I like about these original steps is that it will begin to fatten up our prayer journal.  Everyone loves a chunky journal, don’t they?

Creating your contact page is an important step to getting started, and it reminds me of a scripture…

Put your outdoor work in order and get your fields ready; after that, build your house. Proverbs 24:27 NIV

Doing this is just one of those things in life that you have to take care of so you eliminate the remorse you may have if it gets lost.  Now that we are passed the auxiliary part of the job, we can now get on to the good stuff.

Come back tomorrow to hear about the prayer pinwheel – EEEK!

Happy Prayer Journaling!
