When you believe the Lord has given you a specific task, write it down in the Ears to Hear section of Organizing Your Prayer Closet. Next, fold the page in half from top to bottom. Once you completed the task you can unfold it. The folded pages will readily remind you of open requests.
Now finish the work, so that you may complete it just as eagerly as you began, according to your means. 2 Corinthians 8:11
It is so exciting to receive a Word from the Lord, isn’t it? Too bad that the same enthusiasm doesn’t always remain throughout. When I fold the pages where I have open items before the Lord, I can find those pages easily. This constant reminder helps me to stay focused on the higher things. I must be faithful to those things God calls me to.
This activity will quickly make your prayer journal feel chunky. Many journalers love this aspect.
Happy Prayer Journaling!
