Prayer Journal, Prayer Closet, Secret Compartment

Everybody loves a good secret. And I think we can all agree that every good secret giver loves a good secret keeper!  Our trusty prayer journals should be no different in that regard.

I love showing others my prayer closet organizer, but I don’t always want to share my most intimate thoughts.  So to maintain my privacy, I have had to install some special secret compartments.

Here’s my video on how I did just that…

See you next weekend, and in the meantime, happy prayer journaling!!!

  1. Hi Gina,
I just wanted to let you know that I watch almost all your blogs and I have your book and actually had it before you started the prayer journaling videos. My book is all decorated and I do it every weekend so I can start the new week on Sunday. When you said you were so happy to get two comments I felt so bad to watch you all the time and never make a mention of how much I enjoy it. And one of the things I love is your accent, my family all comes from the south and I grew up with it. My Mother was born in Columbus, Mississippi and she tried so hard to lose her’s when her Dad moved them to TX but she really didn’t succeed as much as she thought she did. She’s passed on to be with the Lord but I think that is one of the reasons I love it so much. Anyway, I do a lot of mixed media art (when my back’s not acting up which since I had the surgery on it now it’s worse). And the best glue stick I have found is made by Scotch, it’s called Scotch Permanent Glue Stick. Just thought I would let you know that and you might want to try it. Can’t wait to add my little window, and by the way no one is perfect and real artist will tell you that every time. God bless and I will continue to watch your videos!

    1. Linda,
Thank you for the sweetest note; it made me smile really big! I will try your recommended glue stick. Feel free to post some of your decorated pages or send them to me. I would love to see them. Thank you for stopping by and sharing:). ~gina
