This finger food is phenomenally good – everybody loves it! One of my cousins brought it to a July 4th family picnic a few years ago, and I just had to have the recipe. And I’ve been carrying this scrumptious little dish to just about every swaray I grace.

Because it is made with cucumbers, it is perfect for summer. Here are the ingredients you will need:

8 oz. whipped cream cheese, 1 packet of Italian dressing mix, 1 large cucumber, 1 package of pita bread, and lemon pepper.

Here are the simple steps:

Step 1: Mix the cream cheese with the dry Italian dressing mix.

Step 2: Top the pita bread much like you would spread pizza sauce on a pizza crust.

Step 3: Cut pita into 4 wedges

Step 4: Top wedges with peeled and sliced cucumber

Step 5: Sprinkle with lemon-pepper

Step 6: Refrigerate for a couple of hours at least (overnight preferably).

Then serve to everyone’s delight! Happy Independence Day!!!
