For many, Christmas holds nostalgic memories, family traditions, and displays of our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Ironically, during our season to celebrate the birth of our Savior, we find persecution from those who find our “Merry Christmas” offensive. We find our Holy Day becoming more commercialized by the year. And, we ourselves, are tempted to get caught up in all the hoopla of the holiday festivities.
My wish for you this Christmas and in the New Year to come is this:
That we will be as passionate about Jesus in our everyday life as we are when we feel persecuted.
That we live a life more dedicated to holy things than having things.
And that we live an undistracted life committed to sharing Jesus.
All of these can be accomplished through consistent Bible study, Prayer and Church Engagement.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
