Everyday we have 100+ things to do, but there is only 1 thing that we must do and that is to follow-through with the things God is leading us to do. It can be as tactical as sending a card to an ailing friend or as strategic as preparing a new Bible study. It is important that we can discern God’s leading, but it will not do us or anybody else any good if we do not execute God’s will.
I am in the middle of a series about fulfilling our God-directed calling. and hope it will continue to help you clarify God’s divine purpose for your life. What are the things you believe God is speaking to you regarding ministry?
For your moment of clarity regarding your ministry assignments from God, I encourage you to write them down and any ideas that come to you under God’s creative anointing in your prayer journal. If God is providing you some steps to take, write those down. If you receiving impressions or confirmations, make note of those, too.
For organizing your prayer closet, pray that your ability to discern God’s leading will become clearer. Pray that you will be better able hear God with laser-like clarity. If God is giving you something that seems daunting, as He is me at this moment, begin to journal it separately, so you can make a bread trail back to God’s hand to reference as needed when doubt tries to set in.
