I wanted to add glitter, but I had to do it my mama’s way. You see, my mama did not tolerate messes, and I was that same kind of mama. I wish I was one of those kinds that could let the kids get messy, and happily clean it up. But noooo….I avoided paints, silly puddy and especially glitter!!!
So, I found some glittered paper to use with my thanksgiving and praise compartment in my structured prayer journal. I am not sure how I will use it, but I will! And just maybe, I will be brave enough to break out some real glitter because I think God is so worth the mess! I am challenged, I say!
I think the best time to break out the glitter is when God decides to show off and wow my socks off. Now, before you get the wrong idea, I know God doesn’t have to put on a dog and pony show for me to celebrate with glitter, and I know that He has already done the most fabulous thing for me through Jesus Christ. BUT, there are those moments when God demonstrates Ephesians 3:20 in our lives and it reminds us anew of just how awesome He is!!!
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20
